      Based on the tradition of the University of Technology, it is worth noting that the current Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center is the first center in Iraq specialized in nanotechnology research and advanced materials. It has a distinguished and strong history that attests to his participation in numerous conferences, seminars, training courses and research projects.

     The Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center plays a pivotal role in achieving the University of Technology's mission, in order to raise its academic and research level to the ranks of the world's leading universities through holding seminars, conferences and training courses. From this standpoint, the Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center is committed to providing an attractive and stimulating research environment for creativity and distinction in the field of nanotechnology and advanced materials.

      The center includes two scientific departments, namely, the Advanced Materials Research Department and the Nanotechnology Research Department. These departments conduct research studies, consultations, and laboratory tests with many state institutions and civil society organizatio.
